The Year with RS sums up a year of performance, development, and commitment in Swedish tennis.
Throughout the season, our players have competed at both national and international levels – with RS as a part of their everyday life on the court.
Here, they share their own words about the season, their collaboration with RS, and what drives them forward.
First up are Nellie Taraba Wallberg and Erik Grevelius.
NELLIE TARABA WALLBERG
How has it felt to represent RS throughout the year?
It has been incredibly motivating and fun. I’m proud to represent a brand that I genuinely like and truly believe in.
Which achievements or milestones stand out as the biggest highlights of the year?
Winning the European Championships was without a doubt the biggest highlight. It’s something I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid, and doing it on my last opportunity and final junior tournament made it even more special. Shortly after, I also reached a final and won my first professional title on the senior tour. This year has given me both confidence and hunger heading into the next season.
How do RS garments perform for you in training and competition?
They work extremely well both in training and during matches, and also off the court. The fit is great, they’re comfortable, and above all, they look really good.
What have you learned about yourself as a player this year?
I’ve learned a lot and improved in many areas, but especially mentally. I’ve realised how important it is to be mentally prepared before every match to perform at my best. I’ve also focused a lot on physical training to build a body that can handle the demands of the tour.
What inspires you most heading into next season?
I’m extremely excited to now focus fully on the senior tour. I feel ready, and my goal is to play as much as possible while continuing to develop my tennis.
What is your favourite RS piece?
The SS26 collection, without a doubt. I love the colours and the design. I’ve also played many matches in the light pink set with the Court V-neck Top and Court Pleated Skirt – it’s definitely one of my favourites.
ERIK GREVELIUS
How would you describe your year with RS?
It’s been a great year with RS. Stylish apparel, solid footwear and a partnership that has worked really well throughout the season.
Which sporting highlights are you most satisfied with this year?
Playing Davis Cup, competing in the two ATP 250 tournaments in Sweden, and winning two Challenger titles are definitely the biggest highlights.
How have you developed as a player this year?
I’ve improved both my game and my ranking, which shows that I’m moving in the right direction.
How do you experience the RS garments you compete in?
RS clothing is always stylish and functional. I often receive compliments from both players and spectators.
What do you take with you into next season?
My goal is to keep climbing and take even more steps forward, aiming for an even stronger season next year.
